
General Dynamics Awarded $18 Million Stryker Repair Contract
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), an $18 million contract for the repair of battle-damaged Stryker vehicles.
General Dynamics will service, repair and modify the battle-damaged Stryker vehicles to restore them to a pre-combat, like-new condition. The work will be done in Qatar by General Dynamics field service representatives. Repairs under this contract will be completed by year-end.
General Dynamics, headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, employs approximately 72,200 people worldwide and had 2005 revenue of $21.2 billion.
