The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has closed its medical hospital in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and its medical team has left the country, the NATO said on Wednesday.
NATO had deployed some 1,000 troops in Bagh, a major city in Kashmir, which was badly hit by the October 8th earthquake.
The main group of NATO Military Relief Hospital (NMRH) has departed Pakistan, a NATO statement said.
NATO deployment in Pakistan had been controversial and many opposition religious and political parties opposed the NATO troops deployment in Kashmir.
Pakistan and NATO reached an understanding last month that NATO troops will leave Pakistan on the completion of three-month operation in the quake-hit Kashmir.
