| January 21, 2006 Release Number: 06-01-15C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO MARINES KILLED IN HAQLANIYAH CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Two Marines assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) while conducting combat operations in Haqlaniyah Jan. 20. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
