U.S. CENTAF PAKISTAN RELIEF SUMMARY
SOUTHWEST ASIA — The U.S. Air Force continued to support Pakistan-led earthquake recovery operations by airlifting much-needed supplies into the devastated region December 16-23.
Two U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules and one C-17 Globemaster flew in more than 61,000 pounds of water, medical supplies and vehicle parts and supplies in response to requests from Pakistan’s government.
To date, the U.S. Air Force has airlifted more than 10 million pounds of relief supplies to Pakistan using 51 C-130 Hercules, 45 C-17 Globemasters and 52 various contracted aircraft.
