| December 7, 2005 Release Number: 05-12-10C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE II MEF SOLDIER KILLED NEAR HABBANIYAH CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed in action while conducting a combat patrol against the enemy when his vehicle hit a mine in the vicinity of Habbaniyah, Dec. 6. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense. Several U.S. Army units are attached to II MEF (Fwd) during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
