Task Force Baghdad Soldiers defeat terrorists in suburb
BAGHDAD, Iraq — Task Force Baghdad Soldiers successfully repelled a terrorist attack near Jisr Diyala Nov. 15.
Two terrorists were killed, one was wounded and two suspects were detained after the exchange of fire in the Baghdad suburb. There were no American casualties.
Iraqi Police evacuated the wounded terrorist to a nearby medical facility.
After engaging the enemy, the Troopers moved into the village to search for more terrorist activity. In the town, the troopers conducted a hasty cordon and search. During the search for more terrorists, two additional suspects were detained.
