| November 5, 2005 Release Number: 05-11-11C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SOLDIER ASSIGNED TO II MEF DIES AFTER MINE STRIKE CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), died of wounds after his vehicle hit a mine near Habbaniyah, Nov. 4. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense. Several U.S. Army units are attached to and operating with II MEF (Forward) during Operation Iraqi Freedom. -30- |
