DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Chief Warrant Officer Paul J. Pillen, 28, of Keystone, S.D., died in Salwa, Kuwait, on Oct. 17, of a non-combat related cause. Pillen was assigned to the Army National Guard's 249th Aviation, Rapid City, S.D.
The incident is under investigation.
