DoD Identifies Army Casualty

           

           The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Spc. Joshua J. Kynoch, 23, of Santa Rosa, Calif., died in Bayji, Iraq, on Oct. 1, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle during convoy operations.  Kynoch was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
