| October 31, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-45C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MARINE DIES FROM IED ATTACK NEAR NASSER WA SALAAM CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), died of wounds sustained from an enemy improvised explosive device attack on his vehicle during combat operations near Nasser Wa Salaam Oct. 29. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
