| October 21, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-27C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE II MEF SOLDIER DIED FROM WOUNDS CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq –A Soldier assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), died of wounds sustained from an indirect fire attack in Hit, Oct. 20. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense. Several U.S. Army units are attached to II MEF (Fwd) during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
