| October 20, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-26C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MARINE KILLED BY VEHICLE-BORNE IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed in action by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device on Oct. 19, while conducting combat operations against the enemy in the vicinity of Karabilah, Iraq. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
