| October 18, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-20C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SOLDIER DEATH IN KUWAIT ARIFJAN, Kuwait – A U.S. soldier was pronounced dead after being discovered in an apartment pool in the Salwa district, south of Kuwait City, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Monday. The name of the soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and will be published in the coming days on the U.S. Department of Defense web site: http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/.
