| October 14, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-16C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THREE U.S. SOLDIERS KILLED IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ARIFJAN, Kuwait – Three U.S. soldiers were killed and one US soldier and one non-U.S. civilian contractor were injured in a traffic accident in Iraq today. The accident occurred 21 kilometers south of the Baghdad International Airport, at approximately 5:06 a.m. today. The injured were taken to the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad for treatment. The names of the soldiers are being withheld pending next of kin notification and will be released by the U.S. Department of Defense at http://www.defenselink.mil/releases/.
