| October 7, 2005 Release Number: 05-10-10C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO MARINES KILLED BY IED CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Two Marines assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2d Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action by an improvised explosive device while conducting a combat logistics patrol in the vicinity of al Qaim, Iraq, on Oct. 6. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
