Five Soldiers killed in Ar Ramadi

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Five Soldiers assigned to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations in Ar Ramadi, on Sept. 28.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.

Several U.S. Army units are attached to II MEF (Fwd) during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
