IED emplacer killed, four detained in Samarra
Multi-National Force-Iraq
TIKRIT, Iraq – One terrorist was killed when an improvised explosive device he was removing from his vehicle detonated Aug. 29 around 10 a.m in Samarra .
Task Force Liberty Soldiers detained four other individuals who were removing the body from the vehicle and placing it in their truck. The detainees were taken to a Coalition base for questioning.
No Coalition Forces were injured in the incident.
