NORFOLK, Va. (NNS) -- USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) and USS McFaul (DDG 74) will return to their homeport of Norfolk Aug. 24.
The two ships collided and experienced minor damage while conducting exercises off the coast of Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 22.
The incident is currently under investigation.
