Task Force Liberty Soldiers detain suspected Tikrit IED cell

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty Soldiers detained eight individuals, including four suspected members of an improvised explosive device cell, during a raid in Tikrit at 4:20 a.m. Aug. 21. One of the detainees is suspected of being the cell leader. Task Force Liberty soldiers also seized a number of weapons and various explosives during the raid. No Task Force Liberty Soldiers were injured in the operation.
