The International Security Assistance Force said in a statement today that the militants fired three rockets at the Afghan National Police center in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif.
However, no casualties or damage was caused by the incident, which occurred on 6 August.
Meanwhile, the U.S. military said a former Taliban rebel commander, Mullah Hajji Jalani, had surrendered on 4 August and joined a government reconciliation program in eastern Paktika Province.
