Marine killed by suicide attack
Multi-National Force-Iraq
CAMP FALLUJAH , Iraq – A Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 8, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) was killed in action August 6 by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device. The incident took place during combat operations near Al Amiriyah, Iraq .
The name of the deceased is being withheld and will be released by the Department of Defense after the next of kin have been notified.
