| August 31, 2005 Release Number: 05-08-40C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE II MEF SOLDIER KILLED IN ACTION CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to 155th Brigade Combat Team, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was killed in action Aug. 30th when he was struck by an improvised explosive device. The incident occurred during combat operations near Iskandariyah, Iraq. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
