Joint search detains three in Kirkuk

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty Soldiers and Iraqi police detained three individuals suspected of terrorist activity during a joint search in Kirkuk July 20.

The joint force was conducting the search operation due to increased terrorist activity in the area.

The Soldiers and police confiscated 10 rocket-propelled grenades, five fragmentary grenades, five AK-47 assault rifles and one mortar sight.
