Police said insurgents ambushed a bus carrying Iraqi workers to a U.S. Army base outside Baquba, killing at least 13 workers and wounding six others.
Another two people are reported to have been killed in Kirkuk when an Iraqi police patrol was hit by a roadside bomb.
The violence is the latest in a series of deadly bomb attacks that have killed nearly 120 people since 16 July.
