Task Force Baghdad Soldiers unearth weapons cache
BAGHDAD, Iraq -- A Task Force Baghdad unit uncovered a large weapons cache during cordon-and-search operations July 8 and 9 in north Baghdad.
As Soldiers excavated the cache sites, they uncovered weapons and ammunition which included the following: 70 rocket-propelled grenades, 38 cases of various ammunition, two mortars, two AK-47 rifles and 13 AK-47 magazines.
