| July 15, 2005 Release Number: 05-07-09C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO MARINES KILLED NEAR TREBIL CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq -- Two Marines assigned to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action July 14 when their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Trebil, Iraq. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
