Task Force Liberty Soldiers detain five suspects near Ad Duluiyah

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty Soldiers detained three suspected terrorists near Ad Duluiyah after following a set of wires from the roadside to a house June 27.

The Soldiers searched the house and found three AK-47 assault rifles, one shotgun, small arms ammunition, a suitcase of Iraqi currency and 25 identification cards.

Two other suspects were detained earlier in the same area after being found with shovels along the shoulder of the road. One tested positive for explosives.

All of the suspects were taken to a Coalition Forces base for questioning.
