| June 28, 2005 Release Number: 05-06-38C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TASK FORCE LIBERTY SOLDIER KILLED TIKRIT, Iraq –A Task Force Liberty Soldier was killed when a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near a Coalition Forces base near Balad at about 11:40 a.m. June 28. The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. One wounded Soldier was taken to a Coalition Forces medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds.
