| June 22, 2005 Release Number: 05-06-30C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO SOLDIERS KILLED NEAR AR RAMADI CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq -- Two Soldiers assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action June 21 by small-arms fire. The incident took place during combat operations near Ar Ramadi, Iraq. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The 2nd BCT is a U.S. Army unit assigned to II MEF (Fwd) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
