| June 14, 2005 Release Number: 05-06-17C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO SOLDIERS ASSIGNED TO MARINES KILLED NEAR RAMADI CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Two Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed in action June 13 when their vehicle was struck by an explosive device. The incident took place during combat operations near Ramadi, Iraq. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The 2nd BCT is assigned to II MEF (Fwd) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
