TWO SOLDIERS KILLED IN AL ANBAR PROVINCE

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – Two Soldiers assigned to the 155th Brigade Combat Team, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), were killed June 11 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle. The incident took place during combat operations about 12 miles southeast of Al Amiriyah, Iraq.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The 155th BCT is a U.S. Army unit assigned to II MEF (Fwd) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
