DoD Identifies Army Casualty

          The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

           Sgt. Charles T. Wilkerson, 30, of Kansas City, Mo., died May 22 in Baghdad, Iraq, when an unknown ordnance detonated near his tent.  Wilkerson was assigned to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colo.
