General Dynamics Awarded $8 Million Contract for M1A2 SEP and Bradley Spares

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), an $8.2 million contract to provide spare parts for the M1A2 Abrams System Enhancement Package (SEP) tank and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle through April 2010.

Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich. (10 percent); Killeen, Texas (85 percent); and Southwest Asia (5 percent).

General Dynamics, headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia, employs approximately 70,100 people worldwide and had 2004 revenue of $19.2 billion. The company is a market leader in mission-critical information systems and technologies; land and expeditionary combat systems, armaments and munitions; shipbuilding and marine systems; and business aviation.
