IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 25, 2005

DoD Identifies Navy Casualty

 

 

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

            Seaman Aaron A. Kent, 28, of Portland, Oregon, died Apr. 23, from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations near Fallujah, Iraq.  Kent was assigned to 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
