KYRGYZ AUTHORITIES NOT TO THWART AKAYEVS' BUSINESS IN KYRGYZSTAN
BISHKEK, April 14 (RIA Novosti) - The Kyrgyz authorities will not thwart the Akayevs' business in Kyrgyzstan, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, the country's Prime Minister and Acting President, stated.
"There is no ground to thwart the Akayevs' business in Kyrgyzstan. If there are controversies on property they own, they must be settled in court," Bakiyev said.
Commenting on Akayev's daughter presence in the parliament, Bakiyev said it proves that the country's authorities did not try to prevent her from returning to Bishkek.
"Although I have not seen her personally, I have been told that Bermet Akayeva is in Bishkek now. This is evidence that the government did not pose obstacles to her return," the official remarked.
Bermet Akayeva was reported today to have returned to Bishkek and attended the session of the country's parliament.
