Task Force Baghdad Soldiers capture terrorists, arsenal

BAGHDAD, Iraq
- Task Force Baghdad Soldiers conducted an early-morning raid of several objectives in south Baghdad April 4, resulting in the capture of nine terrorists, weapons and bomb-making materials.
One of the captured terrorists is the leader of a terror cell and another of the detainees is suspected to be an improvised explosive device engineer for another terror organization.
"Anti-Iraqi Forces have taken a major hit here," said Lt. Col. Clifford Kent, a Task Force Baghdad spokesperson. "Through continued cooperation from the public, Iraqi Police and the Iraqi Army, combined with Task Force Baghdad Soldiers, we are stopping violence at the source, before it spills into the streets."
During the raid, the Soldiers also confiscated materials used for recruiting and training terrorists.
The names of those detained are being withheld until the investigation is complete.
To report terrorist activities, e-mail baghdadtipshotline@yahoo.com or call one of the TIPS hotlines at 07901737723 or 07901737727.
