| April 29, 2005 Release Number: 05-04-29C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE TASK FORCE LIBERTY SOLDIER KILLED, FOUR WOUNDED BY IED TIKRIT, Iraq -- One Task Force Liberty Soldier was killed and four were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated near Hawija at about 7:30 p.m. on April 28. The wounded Soldiers were evacuated to a coalition medical facility and are in stable condition. The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. -30- |
