TF Liberty Soldiers detain Iraqi for throwing grenade
 

TIKRIT, Iraq - Task Force Liberty Soldiers detained an individual for throwing a grenade at a combat patrol near Kirkuk about 9:15 p.m., March 29.

The patrol was in the process of securing the site of an improvised explosive device detonation when the individual drove by and threw a grenade at the Soldiers, who returned fire and destroyed the vehicle.

No injuries or damage to equipment occurred.
