Multi-National Forces detain key terrorists
MOSUL, Iraq -- Multi-National Forces from 1st Brigade, 25th
Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), detained ten
suspected terrorists during operations in northern Iraq March 27.
Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, detained eight
people suspected of conducting attacks on Security Forces and
ordering the assassination of Gen. Waleed Kashmoula during a raid in
western Mosul.
Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment, detained
two people suspected of terrorist activity during a cordon and
search operation south of Mosul. Suspects are in custody with no MNF
injuries reported.
