LAVROV & RICE CALL TO BRING LAW AND ORDER BACK IN KYRGYZSTAN
MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and the USA both deem it urgent to reinstate law and order in Kyrgyzstan, Sergei Lavrov, Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Condoleezza Rice, US Secretary of State, said in a telephone conference.
As they exchanged opinions on Kyrgyz developments, the conferees emphatically called "to bring back law and order throughout the country, and support Kyrgyz authorities as they combat violence, crime and hoodlumism, and seek to reinstate constitutional legality", reports Russia's Foreign Ministry press and information department.
Those should be primary goals of the OSCE and other international organizations represented in Bishkek, agreed Mr. Lavrov and Ms. Rice.
