Task Force Baghdad Soldiers find IEDs

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A Task Force Baghdad unit discovered two improvised explosive devices, one buried underneath the other, around 8:30 p.m. March 23.

The first discovery was described as an artillery shell in a box. The Soldiers secured the site and called in a Task Force Baghdad Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, which then detonated the IED. That explosion kicked up another buried round, which the EOD team then destroyed in a controlled detonation.
