Two suspected terrorists in custody
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Task Force Baghdad Soldiers have two suspected
terrorists in custody, after two 120 millimeter rounds struck a
vehicle convoy in southern Baghdad. There were no injuries in the
attack.
Earlier in the day, Task Force Baghdad Soldiers found more than five
122 millimeter rounds in the middle of a road in northern Baghdad.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team safely detonated the rounds.
In another incident in northern Baghdad, an Explosive Ordnance
Disposal Team detonated an improvised explosive device made out of a
fuel can with wires protruding out.
Soldiers from 1-41 Infantry also discovered a land mine in western
Baghdad. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team recovered the mine.
