CAMP ECHO, Iraq - A patrol from 2nd Battle Group (Polish) found themselves under machine gun fire at 8:20 p.m., March 16, about twenty kilometers west of Ad Diwanyah.

When notified of the attack, the 2nd Battle Group commander responded by deploying his Quick Reaction Forces.

No one in the group was wounded or killed.
