GEORGIAN FOREIGN MINISTER: NATO MONITORING OF RUSSIAN-GEORGIAN BORDER IS UNREAL

TBILISI, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - Georgian Foreign Minister Salome Zurabishvili believes that NATO monitoring of the Russian-Georgian border is unreal.
"This is unreal," Ms. Zurabishvili told the Imedi Georgian TV company in Brussels speaking about the possibility to deploy NATO observers at certain sections of the Georgian-Russian border.
Meanwhile, the Georgian Foreign Minister does not rule out the replacement of the OSCE mission with a mission of EU observers.
According to her, Georgia assigns priority to the OSCE monitoring of the Chechen, Ingush and Dagestani sections of the Russian-Georgian border.
During the visit to Brussels Salome Zurabishvili is discussing Georgian-EU cooperation, border monitoring and Russian-Georgian relations with heads of the European Union and NATO.
