| March 31, 2005 Release Number: 05-03-24C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE TASK FORCE FREEDOM SOLDIER KILLED, FIVE INJURED DURING ATTACK MOSUL, Iraq - One Task Force Freedom Soldier was killed, and five others were injured after insurgents opened fire on Coalition Forces at a check point in Mosul March 30. The injured Soldiers were taken to a combat hospital for treatment. The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. -30- |
