            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

            Lance Cpl. Richard A. Perez Jr., 19, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Feb. 10 as a result of non-hostile vehicle incident in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.  He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's 6^th Motor Transport Battalion, 4^th Force Service Support Group, Las Vegas, Nev. 

            The incident is under investigation.
