| February 16, 2005 Release Number: 05-02-20C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TASK FORCE LIBERTY SOLDIER DIES IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT TIKRIT, Iraq -- One Task Force Liberty Soldier died and one was injured in a vehicle accident near As Sadiyah in Diyala Province at about 7:30 a.m. Feb. 16. One Iraqi civilian died and two were injured when a Coalition vehicle and civilian vehicle collided. The injured Soldier was taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification. The incident is under investigation. -30- |
