| February 14, 2005 Release Number: 05-02-16C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE TF DANGER SOLDIER KILLED AND ONE WOUNDED TIKRIT, IRAQ - One Task Force Danger Soldier was killed and one was wounded by indirect fire on a Coalition Forces base near Samarra at about 3:15 p.m. Feb. 13. Both Soldiers were evacuated to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility where one later died of wounds sustained in the attack. The names are being withheld until the next of kin have been notified. -30- |
