| February 14, 2005 Release Number: 05-02-15C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THREE TF DANGER SOLDIERS DIE IN VEHICLE ROLLOVER TIKRIT, Iraq -- Three Task Force Danger Soldiers died in a vehicle rollover Feb. 13 at about 5:10 a.m. near Balad. The armored humvee rolled into a canal during a combat patrol. The names are being withheld until the next of kin have been notified. Five Soldiers attempting a rescue were evacuated to a Multi-National Forces medical treatment facility. All five are expected to return to duty. The accident is under investigation. -30- |
