
Second car Bomb on Airport Road Wounds Three Soldiers
Baghdad, Iraq -- A second vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated Jan. 26 on the road leading to the Baghdad International Airport, damaging one Task Force Baghdad vehicle and wounding three Soldiers.
This is the second such attack on the airport road today. The first car bomb detonated at 10:30 a.m. This attack took place at about 2:35 p.m. An up-armored humvee was damaged in the incident.
All three wounded were evacuated to a military medical facility.
The incident is under investigation.
